About this directory

CasinoAtlas is a reference directory of casino venues worldwide, organised by country, region and city, alongside a library of explanatory pages about how casinos are licensed, laid out and run.

The directory currently records 103 venues across 21 countries and 54 destinations, with 15 reference pages in the info library.

What this site is for

Casino information online is dominated by promotional material. This directory is built for a different purpose: to describe where venues are, what format they take, what is on the gaming floor, and what rules apply to entering them. It carries no affiliate links, takes no payment for listings and ranks nothing by commercial relationship.

What this site is not

  • It is not a gambling operator and takes no wagers.
  • It does not recommend where to gamble, and it publishes no reviews or scores.
  • It is not a legal reference. Entry rules, ages and licensing summaries are descriptive, and the law in every jurisdiction changes.
  • It does not promote any operator, and venue pages link to official websites only for reference.

Editorial approach

Two kinds of information appear on a venue page. Identity and format — name, city, country, venue type, games recorded as present — are stable and are stated plainly. Operating figures such as machine counts, table counts, floor area and room inventory change continuously, and every one of them carries a visible marker showing whether it is documented or an estimate. The marker is part of the data, not a disclaimer appended to it.

Pages in the info library explain mechanisms rather than report news. They describe how a floor is laid out, where the house edge comes from, how regulators work and what entry rules exist, and they are revised when the underlying arrangements change.

Corrections

Corrections are welcome and are the fastest way to improve the directory. If a venue has closed, changed name, changed operator or carries a figure that is materially wrong, the correction will be applied and the field's source marker reviewed with it.

Responsible gambling

Gambling carries a built-in cost to the player, and for some people it causes serious harm. Every licensed market now provides self-exclusion and limit-setting tools, and they are described in detail on responsible gambling tools and exclusion registers. If gambling is causing difficulty for you or someone close to you, the national services listed on that page are free and confidential.
