Beau Rivage opened in 1999 on the Biloxi beachfront and is the largest property on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It was built to a Las Vegas standard by the same developer behind Bellagio, and reopened in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina destroyed much of the interior.

The resort holds a theatre, a marina, a golf course inland and a poker room that anchors the regional tournament circuit. Minimums are substantially lower than in Las Vegas, which makes it the main destination property for drive-in visitors from the South.
