Caesars New Orleans

Louisiana's only land-based casino stands at the foot of Canal Street, between the French Quarter and the Mississippi, and opened in 1999 after a protracted development history. It was rebranded from Harrah's to Caesars in 2024 following a major refurbishment that added a hotel tower.

The original licence restricted the property's hotel and restaurant offer to protect the city's hospitality trade; those limits were relaxed in the 2010s, which is what made the recent expansion possible.
