Integrated resort · Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Crown Melbourne
Crown Melbourne occupies a long riverside block at Southbank, opposite the central business district, and holds one of the largest gaming floors in the southern hemisphere. It opened at a temporary site in 1994 and moved to the present complex in 1997.
The property includes three hotels, a conference centre, a cinema and a dining strip along the Yarra promenade. Since the Victorian royal commission reported in 2021 it has operated under a special manager, with changes to carded play, cash limits and the junket arrangements that previously supplied much of its VIP business.
