Integrated resort · Cotai, Macau
Studio City
Studio City opened in 2015 with a cinema-themed scheme: a figure-of-eight Ferris wheel suspended between two towers, a studio soundstage, a water park added later and a virtual-reality attraction zone. The licence conditions pushed the operator towards non-gaming content, and the property is the clearest example of that policy.
The casino floor is smaller relative to the resort than at other Cotai properties, and the business mix leans towards families and younger visitors drawn by the attractions.
