1968 Opened
Circus Circus opened in 1968 and was the first Las Vegas casino built to admit children to part of the property, with a circus ring and midway above the gaming floor. It remains the clearest surviving example of the family-oriented experiment that the Strip later abandoned.
The resort includes an indoor amusement park under a glass dome, an RV park and three low-rise room blocks. It was sold away from its long-time corporate owner in 2019 and sits at the quieter north end of the Strip, trading on low room rates.
