MGM Grand Las Vegas
MGM Grand opened in 1993 as the largest hotel in the world at the time, at the corner of the Strip and Tropicana Avenue. The original Wizard of Oz theming was removed in a late-1990s refurbishment, leaving a green glass complex organised around a very large single gaming hall.
The property includes an arena used for championship boxing and concerts, a conference centre, and a separate all-suite tower. Its floor carries one of the bigger table counts in the city, and the poker room and sportsbook sit near the Grand Garden entrance.
